About pornboxd

The short version

pornboxd is a place to discover, track, rate, review, and build lists around the VR and AR videos you watch — across every immersive studio that matters, both Western VR and the JAV VR catalog, instead of yet another siloed tube site.

What you can do here

  • Browse a unified catalog of VR and AR scenes aggregated from immersive studio sites.
  • Log what you’ve watched and track rewatches over time.
  • Rate videos on a half-star 0.5 to 5.0 scale.
  • Write reviews with structured references to other videos you want to compare.
  • Build and share public lists — ranked or unranked, themed however you like.
  • Follow performers, studios, tags, directors, series, and other users to shape your activity feed.
  • Search across titles, performers, tags, and JAV-specific entities (directors, series, makers) in one place.

How it works

pornboxd doesn’t host video content. For each studio we support, we run a scraper that pulls its public catalog — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, cast, tags, release dates — into our database. Those records are normalized, de-duplicated, and connected to actor and tag pages so that everything cross-links. Thumbnails are cached in Cloudflare R2 for speed and reliability. When you want to watch a scene, the “Watch on [Studio]” link takes you to the original source.

On top of that catalog sits the user layer: watch logs, ratings, reviews, lists, favorites, watchlists, follows, and activity feeds — the familiar primitives that make browsing feel like discovery rather than data entry.

Why this exists

VR and AR adult content has no real viewer-first tracking community. Discovery is broken — tube sites optimize for engagement at any cost, immersive studio sites are walled off from each other, and reviews are either absent or paid. There’s no shared vocabulary for “I watched this and it was great” and no way to trace a thread across studios when you like a specific performer, headset format, resolution, or subgenre. pornboxd is an attempt to build the missing piece: a viewer-first layer for tracking, reviewing, and discussing immersive scenes, with the studios’ own sites as the canonical place content lives.

How we make money

pornboxd earns commissions from affiliate links. When you click a “Watch on [Studio]” button and go on to sign up or buy on the studio’s site, the studio pays us a share of that sale. That’s it. No ads. No pop-unders. No data-broker relationships. No paid reviews. Affiliate placements never influence ratings, review order, or discovery rankings. You can read the full disclosure in our Terms of Service.

Our relationship with studios

We’d rather work with studios than around them. pornboxd drives high-intent traffic to studio sites, highlights their catalogs to audiences actively looking to buy, and gives them a natural place to be reviewed and discovered alongside their peers. Studios interested in affiliate partnerships, catalog enhancement, featured placement, or future analytics products can reach us at [email protected] with “Studio” in the subject line.

A note for users

pornboxd is strictly 18+. We don’t display performers who are under 18, and we don’t knowingly index content that involves minors, non-consent, or exploitation. If you ever see something that looks wrong, please tell us — the 2257 Compliance page has the right address and we treat those reports as our top priority.
