Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of pornboxd. By visiting the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to use pornboxd. You must also be legally permitted to view adult content where you live. By using the site, you confirm that both are true.

2. What pornboxd is

pornboxd is a discovery, tracking, and review platform for adult content, operated from Ontario, Canada. We aggregate publicly available metadata — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, cast, release dates — from third-party studios so that users can browse, track what they’ve watched, rate, review, list, and discuss. We do not host, produce, upload, stream, or distribute any performance content. Playback of actual videos always happens on the originating studio’s own site, reached via the outbound “Watch on [Studio]” links on video pages.

3. Accounts

You can browse most of pornboxd without an account. Creating an account is required to log watches, rate, review, favorite, watchlist, build lists, or follow. When you create an account:

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • One account per person. Don’t share your login or impersonate others.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time — email [email protected].

4. Your content

Reviews, lists, list notes, profile bios, and anything else you submit to pornboxd is “User Content.” You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant pornboxd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it on and around the site (including in feeds, lists, search results, SEO snippets, and related promotional surfaces) for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deletion to account for caching and backups. You confirm that you have the right to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate anyone else’s rights.

The following are not allowed in User Content and will be removed:

  • Content involving anyone under 18 or presenting anyone under 18 in a sexualized context.
  • Personal information about private individuals (doxxing, stalking material, non-consensual intimate imagery, revenge posts).
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, incitement, or content that targets protected classes.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement.
  • Defamation or knowingly false claims about performers, studios, or other users.
  • Spam, link stuffing, or commercial solicitations (hyperlinks inside review bodies are rejected at the API layer).
  • Malware, exploits, or links to phishing or scam sites.

We may remove User Content that violates these Terms at our discretion and suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly do so.

5. Affiliate disclosure

pornboxd makes money through affiliate commissions. When you click an outbound “Watch on [Studio]” link on a video page, tracking parameters travel with the URL so that any resulting purchase or sign-up on the studio’s site can be attributed to pornboxd. We may receive a one-time or recurring commission on those sales. Affiliate arrangements do not influence what pornboxd indexes, what reviews or ratings appear, or how pages are ranked in discovery. This disclosure is made in compliance with applicable truth-in-advertising and affiliate disclosure guidelines.

6. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download pornboxd without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the site’s infrastructure.
  • Circumvent rate limits, bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), or authentication.
  • Impersonate another user, a performer, or a studio.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, admin surfaces, or private data.
  • Use pornboxd to distribute malware, conduct fraud, or launder affiliate traffic.
  • Violate any applicable law in the jurisdiction where you are located.

7. Third-party content and links

Video playback, downloads, memberships, and payments all happen on the originating studios’ sites. pornboxd is not responsible for the content, availability, policies, pricing, payment security, or quality of any third-party site we link to. Your dealings with any third party are strictly between you and that third party.

8. DMCA, content removal, and 2257

Copyright holders can submit a takedown notice using the procedure on our DMCA page. Performers who want their likeness removed, or anyone reporting urgent content issues, should follow the contacts on our 2257 Compliance page and email [email protected]. We respond to valid requests promptly.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to pornboxd — immediately and without notice — if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or safety risk, or caused harm to other users. You can also terminate your account at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including user-content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

pornboxd is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that metadata, thumbnails, ratings, reviews, or any other information on the site is accurate, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, pornboxd and the people who run it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the site. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from your use of pornboxd will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless pornboxd and the people who run it from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of pornboxd will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced on the site. Your continued use of pornboxd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
