pornboxd respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe material on pornboxd infringes a copyright you own or represent, this page explains how to file a takedown notice and what happens next.

Our role as an aggregator

pornboxd is a discovery and review platform. We do not host, produce, or distribute video content. For every title on the site, the original source studio is identified on the video page and the outbound “Watch on [Studio]” link directs visitors to the rights holder. pornboxd displays thumbnails and metadata (titles, descriptions, cast, tags, release dates) so that users can discover, track, and review content that lives on the studio’s own site. If you believe any of that displayed material infringes your rights, we’ll remove it upon receiving a valid notice.

How to file a takedown notice

To be effective, a takedown notice should satisfy the requirements of 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). Send your notice by email to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice” and include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (for example, the title of a specific scene, series, or still, plus where the original is published).
  3. Identification of the material on pornboxd that you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — ideally the full URL(s) on pornboxd.com.
  4. Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Response timeline

We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 72 hours and to remove or disable access to clearly infringing material within 7 days of receipt — often much faster. If a notice is incomplete, we’ll tell you what’s missing so you can resubmit.

Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed in error or as a result of mis-identification, you can submit a counter-notice to [email protected]. A valid counter-notice, under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before it was taken down.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or mis-identification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or, if you live outside the United States, any judicial district in which pornboxd may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

Repeat infringers

It is pornboxd’s policy to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We keep a record of takedown notices and any related account actions so we can apply this policy consistently.

False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please make sure your claim is accurate before submitting.

Non-copyright removal requests

If you are a performer who wants your likeness removed, or if you are reporting content that involves a minor, non-consensual material, or another urgent safety concern, do not use the DMCA process. Instead, see our 18 U.S.C. §2257 Compliance Notice and email [email protected]. Those requests are handled on a separate, faster track.
